The Tensor Track

Abstract:
The talk will review the current status of the tensor track, introduced about seven years ago as a program to explore quantum gravity with modern random tensor theory. Tensor models provide a sum over geometries pondered by a discretized version of the Einstein-Hilbert action. They were more recently connected to conformal field theory and toy models of quantum black holes. However their associated particle content is still unknown; it has been suggested that it could correspond to new families of higher spin theories.
