3D gravity, Chern-Simons theory, and Wilson lines
Abstract:
In this talk I'll overview recent progress on aspects of 3D
gravity with particular emphasis on its relation to Chern-Simons theory. I
will discuss the role of Wilson lines in Chern-Simons theory, which are
natural objects to explore local properties of the theory.
